LARRY J. FRANCES is the founder and owner of Frances & Associates, LLC. Mr. Frances concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of commercial real estate development, leasing, acquisition, sales, and finance. He assists his clients at all levels of commercial development, from site identification through grand opening. His breadth of experience allows him to address and resolve complex issues and advise clients responsibly at each level of advancement in the development process. Mr. Frances represents a wide array of national, regional and local clients including shopping center, outparcel, mixed-use, office and industrial developers and landlords and retail, restaurant and office tenants and franchisees.

FOR LANDLORDS AND DEVELOPERS, Mr. Frances provides comprehensive legal representation, guiding his clients from site identification, land acquisition, purchase and construction financing and due diligence review through leasing and construction, permanent financing and final project disposition. A great deal of his work for landlord and developer clients is dedicated to anchor, pad and in-line leasing of traditional and mixed use shopping center projects.

AS TENANT COUNSEL, Mr. Frances has extensive experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, leases and collateral documentation for free standing, shopping center and mixed-use retail, service and restaurant clients. Concomitant with contract and lease drafting and negotiation, he provides comprehensive title, survey and other due diligence review and related negotiation with title insurance companies and regulatory entities to safeguard effectively his clients' legal positions and expedite their development projects.

MR. FRANCES has practiced in the areas of commercial real estate development, leasing, acquisition, sales and finance for the past twenty years. For fourteen years prior to forming Frances & Associates, he was professionally affiliated with MulreninFrances, P.A. Mr. Frances also practiced at a large Baltimore law firm for one year.
